Abstract:
The present invention detects, through an output from an in-vehicle camera, the coordinates of a gaze point of an observer who is watching an object outside the vehicle. A two-dimensional space image is formed at a position corresponding to the gaze point in the outside-vehicle video data. The space image is displayed on a light-emitting display surface and is displayed by an optical system that can change the depth of a mid-air display position. When the space image can be visually recognized by the observer, the gaze point is at a position where video data projected on a retroreflective screen can be perceived as a three-dimensional video.
