Abstract:
The present invention readily assigns an identifier to a plurality of video display devices and clears states in which control of the plurality of video display devices is difficult. A first signal is transmitted to the plurality of video display devices by a first signal line that connects the plurality of video display devices in series. A second signal is transmitted to the plurality of video display devices by a second signal line that connects the plurality of video display devices in parallel. In each of the video display devices, an identifier is assigned to each video display device on the basis of the first signal and the second signal. In each of the video display devices, each video display device is stopped from sending of a third signal to the second signal line, on the basis of the first signal.
