Abstract:
A video frame rate up-conversion method and apparatus, a device and a medium. The method comprises: acquiring first two image frames and last two image frames adjacent to a target position in a video to obtain four consecutive image frames; determining a target motion vector on the basis of a pre-created matching rule and the four image frames, wherein the matching rule is a rule created on the basis of unidirectional motion estimation and bidirectional motion estimation; and generating an interpolation frame on the basis of the target motion vector, and placing the interpolation frame at the target position to up-convert a video frame rate. By using a matching rule determined on the basis of unidirectional motion estimation and bidirectional motion estimation, four consecutive image frames are matched to determine a target motion vector, improving the accuracy of the motion vector. Finally an interpolation frame is generated by means of the calculated target motion vector, up-converting a video frame rate, achieving the conversion from a low frame rate video to a high frame rate video, and improving the quality of video display.
