Abstract:
A video game machine provided with a program executing CPU, and a memory where data are stored which are on a plurality of characters displayed on a display on the basis of the control operation of the CPU corresponding to the execution of the program and read from the program, wherein the characters displayed give the player an impression that they are just like living bodies. In such a video game machine, the data on a plurality of characters define genetic probability of portions constituting the characters, and leave the portions of either one of two characters out of every portions constituting two characters at a predetermined genetic probability defined above, in accordance with predetermined conditions during the execution of the program, whereby data on a new character are formed.
