Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a video image noise evaluation method and device. The method comprises: performing noise estimation on a video image to obtain noise data of each pixel point in the video image; performing region division on the video image to obtain a foreground region and a background region; and according to the noise data, determining full-image noise information of the video image, foreground noise information corresponding to the foreground region and background noise information corresponding to the background region. According to the present solution, accurate positioning of noise points can be achieved, a noise level of the video image can be accurately evaluated, noise level estimation which is more purposeful and more consistent with subjective cognition is obtained, and a good support is provided for subsequent directional noise reduction processing.
