Abstract:
A video encoding/decoding method and device are provided. The video decoding method according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: determining at least two intra prediction modes on the basis of intra prediction modes of peripheral blocks adjacent to the current block; deriving a most probable mode (MPM) list on the basis of the at least two intra prediction modes; deriving an intra prediction mode of the current block on the basis of the MPM list; and generating a prediction block of the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode, wherein a candidate mode in the MPM list can be formed using an intra prediction mode list generated on the basis of the at least two intra prediction modes.
