Abstract:
The present invention relates to a video monitoring method for a mobile robot, comprising the following steps: configuring a private zone on the basis of a map constructed by a robot; determining, on the basis of the position of the robot and an image shot from a shooting angle of a camera, whether an image shot at present contains a private content; if yes, shielding the private content contained in the image; and if no, continuing monitoring. By configuring the private zone in the map constructed by the robot, the robot can determine whether the shot image contains a private content during the subsequent video monitoring process, so as to shield the private content in the image; and thereby, the security in video monitoring of the mobile robot is guaranteed, and privacy leakage is avoided.
