Abstract:
The present invention relates to a video providing service method. The video providing service method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of receiving, by a service server which provides a video providing service, a video from a user terminal subscribed to the service server through a transmission/reception unit; a step of extracting, by bit rate extraction unit of the service server, a bit rate value of the video from the video; a step of comparing, by a bit rate conversion unit of the service server, the bit rate value, with a reference value; and step of encoding, by the bit rate conversion unit, the video such that the bit rate value of the video becomes a preset bit rate conversion value, and storing the encoded video in a memory unit of the service server.
