Abstract:
Provided are a video quality detection method and apparatus, and a service quality management centre. The method comprises: a video quality detection apparatus determining the number of stutters and/or a stutter duration according to a stutter event of a player of a client device, and reporting same to a service quality management centre, so that the service quality management centre determines the quality of an OTT video according to the number of stutters and/or the stutter duration. In this process, since the client device knows the stutter event thereof, the video quality detection apparatus precisely obtains the stutter event of the player of the client device, and determines the stutter duration and/or the number of stutters according to the stutter event and reports same, so that the service quality management centre directly determines the quality of the OTT video according to the stutter duration and/or the number of stutters, so as to achieve the purpose of accurately determining the quality of the OTT video.
