Abstract:
[Problem] To perform a calibration operation accurately and quickly. [Solution] This viewpoint detection device is provided with: a visual target presentation unit which presents a visual target to an eye and continuously moves the visual target according to a prescribed trajectory; a gaze point detection unit which detects the gaze point of the eye; and a numerical optimization problem solving unit which solves a numerical optimization problem in order to find a correction that transforms a first set of a plurality of detected gaze points into a second set that satisfies a specific condition with respect to the prescribed trajectory.
