Abstract:
The present invention relates to vinyl chloride resin aggregate particles that have a volume-based particle size distribution in which the particle diameter D50, corresponding to the cumulative volume percentage of 50 vol%, is 0.5-5.0 μm and the particle diameter D90, corresponding to the cumulative volume percentage of 90 vol%, is 8.0 μm or smaller and that have an Na concentration of 90 ppm or less. The present invention further relates to a coating composition for metal cans and a composition for marking films, the compositions each containing the vinyl chloride resin aggregate particles, and to a coating film. The vinyl chloride resin aggregate particles can form, on metal cans, coating films having high transparency and retortion resistance or/and can form marking films having high transparency and water resistance. A method for producing the vinyl chloride resin aggregate particles is provided. Also provided are: the coating composition for metal cans and the composition for marking films, the compositions each containing the vinyl chloride resin aggregate particles; and the coating film.
