Abstract:
The method for preparing a vinyl graft copolymer disclosed in the present invention comprises: in the presence of polysiloxane-based latex and a vinyl monomer (b1), agglomerating the polysiloxane-based latex, and simultaneously performing free radical polymerisation of the vinyl monomer (b1) and the polysiloxane-based latex to obtain an agglomerate; and performing graft polymerisation of the agglomerate and a vinyl monomer (b2) to obtain a vinyl graft copolymer; the vinyl monomers (b1) and (b2) may be the same or different. The preparation method of the present invention enables a vinyl graft copolymer having a multiple layer structure to be obtained; the graft polymer may be used as an impact modifier and, by means of adding same to thermoplastic resin, a resin composition having excellent low temperature impact resistance and flame retardancy can be obtained.
