Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a virtual data center system. The invention is a virtual data center system that comprises multiple data center systems, a provisioning system that enables sending and receiving of information to and from the data center systems, and an operation statistics database that stores data center system resource information. The provisioning system: uses the resource information stored in the operation statistics database to compare a resource cost based on a resource of a data center system of an arbitrary generation, said resource cost corresponding to the usage condition of the data center system when used from a user system used by a user, with a resource cost based on a resource of the data center system of the generation currently being used by the user, thereby computing a resource cost that will be reduced in the event of a transfer to the data center system of the arbitrary generation; and migrates the data center system that the user is currently using to the data center system of the arbitrary generation, by means of a control instruction from the user system.
