Abstract:
A virtual memory management method and an electronic device. In the method, a process of an application is divided into a plurality of groups, and different memory management modes are used for different groups, wherein when the application is switched to the background and meets a memory recovery condition, data of a process in a second process group of the application can be cleared, and when the application is switched to the foreground, a main interface of the application can be displayed by means of data, in a memory, of a process in a first process group of the application. By means of implementing the technical solution provided in the present application, the hot start speed of an application is boosted.
