Abstract:
Provided is a thin virtual reality display device having a pancake lens capable of reducing leakage light. The virtual reality display device comprises at least an image display panel, a first absorptive-type linear polarizer, a first phase difference layer, a reflective-type circular polarizer, a half mirror, a second phase difference layer, and a second absorptive-type linear polarizer in the stated order and the reflective-type circular polarizer has an action of a concave mirror for rays entering from the half mirror side.
