Abstract:
A virtual space building camera for capturing images projected onto screens constituting a virtual space, comprising therein imaging surfaces the number of which is the same of the screens so as to optically convert the real images to images to be projected onto the respective screens of the virtual space by means of the imaging surfaces. As a result, images to be projected onto screens of a virtual space can be captured by a single camera. Since the captured images are optically converted, the images can be projected onto screens constituting a virtual space without preprocessings such as geometrical conversion, the processings from the imaging to the projection can be done in real time, and thereby realistic images with no quality degradation can be provided.
