Abstract:
A viscous fluid supply device that: has a housing, a movable member disposed movably according to the pressure in an air chamber in a state in which airtightness is maintained inside the housing, a discharge nozzle for discharging a viscous fluid that is filled between the housing and the movable member along with the movement of the movable member inside the housing, a pressure adjustment device for adjusting the pressure in the air chamber in order to move the movable member, a control device for controlling the supply of the viscous fluid via the discharge nozzle, and a pressure sensor for detecting whether the air chamber internal pressure has reached a set pressure, and pressurizes the air chamber by the pressure adjustment device to supply the viscous fluid from the discharge nozzle. The control device has: a pressure adjustment control unit for controlling the pressure adjustment device so as to reduce the pressure inside the air chamber when stopping the supply of the viscous fluid from the discharge nozzle; a time measurement control unit for measuring the time required from the start of decompression in the air chamber by the pressure adjustment device until it is detected by the pressure sensor that the pressure in the air chamber has been reduced to a set pressure; and a remaining amount estimation control unit for estimating the remaining amount of the viscous fluid on the basis of the required time measured by the time measurement control unit.
