Abstract:
The present invention provides a voice input device, a method therefor, and a program, the voice input device reducing erroneous operations based on voices emitted by a person other than an operator and a voice output terminal. This voice input device is operated on the basis of voice data including an utterance emitted by the operator. The voice input device includes a sound source direction estimation unit which estimates a direction from which voice data including a first utterance comprising a specific utterance has been emitted, an operator position estimation unit which estimates the position of the operator, and an operation acceptance unit which accepts a command only when the direction from which the first utterance has been emitted includes the position of the operator.
