Abstract:

This voice output device is provided with a function mechanism that exhibits a prescribed function, a vibration mechanism for causing a member constituting the function mechanism to be vibrated as the member to be vibrated, and a vibration control unit for controlling the vibration mechanism on the basis of voice information. The vibration mechanism has an actuator, a support member, and a biasing member. The actuator generates vibration along a prescribed vibration shaft and has a rear end on the side that is opposite the member to be vibrated in the axial direction of the vibration shaft. The support member supports the actuator. The biasing member is provided in the periphery of the support member when viewed along the vibration shaft, with at least a portion arranged closer to the side of the member to be vibrated than the rear end of the actuator in the axial direction of the vibration shaft, and biases the support member toward the member to be vibrated. The member to be vibrated has a voice output region which is constructed so that the thickness is relatively small.
