Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of electronics, and provides a voltage adjustment method and an electronic device, for use in ensuing that power consumption of a processor can be reduced and performance thereof can be improved under both light load and heavy load. The method is applied to an electronic device comprising a processor and a power source supplying power to the processor. The method comprises: the processor sends power supply adjustment information to the power source according to a clock speed in a next time period; the power source determines, according to the power supply adjustment information, a power supply voltage V out used for supplying power to the processor. The power supply voltage V out decreases as the load current of the power source increases. V min≤V out≤V, V min is a minimum power supply voltage for the processor at the clock speed in the next time period, and V is a set power supply voltage for the processor at the clock speed in the next time period.
