Abstract:
A variable capacitance element, which varies, as a tuning circuit for controlling the oscillation frequency, in capacitance in accordance with a control voltage, is connected to a negative capacitance circuit whose impedance/frequency characteristic is opposite to that of an ordinary capacitance. In this way, the variation ratio in accordance with the control voltage of the combined capacitance comprising the variable capacitance element and the negative capacitance circuit is increased, thereby widening the oscillation frequency band.
