Abstract:
A washer may comprise: a drum; a motor connected to the drum; a motor drive connected to the motor and supplying a driving current to the motor to rotate the drum; and a processor connected to the motor drive. The processor may store instructions for: controlling the motor drive to supply a driving current to the motor in order to rotate the motor at target speed; and determining the magnitude of load received by the drum while controlling the rotational speed of the motor in a predetermined range.
