Abstract:
A washing machine. The washing machine comprises: a washing machine body (1); and an external water suction apparatus (2), which is arranged outside the washing machine body (1) and is used for sucking in water and injecting same into the washing machine body (1), wherein the external water suction apparatus (2) is wirelessly connected to the washing machine body (1) by means of an infrared control module, and the washing machine can control the switching-on and switching-off of the external water suction apparatus (2) by means of the infrared control module. A control method for a washing machine. The method comprises: after a control unit has received a signal of a user selecting an external water suction function, controlling the starting of an external water suction apparatus (2) by means of an infrared control module, so as to suck in water and inject same into a washing machine body (1). By means of the external water suction apparatus (2), a washing machine can reuse domestic water more conveniently, thereby saving on water resources. In addition, during a water suction process, a user does not need to manually operate a switch of the external water suction apparatus (2), and the automated and intelligent control over water suction can be realized by means of infrared control technology, such that the operation and control process is simple and convenient, thereby improving the usage experience of the user.
