Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine which can provide information related to laundry. The washing machine can acquire an image of a wash label of laundry via a camera mounted on the washing machine. The washing machine can identify a wash course corresponding to at least one wash symbol included in the acquired wash label image. The washing machine can compare a current wash course and a wash course of the laundry and output, via at least one of a display or a speaker, a notification indicating whether the laundry is suitable for the current wash course.
