Abstract:
The present invention relates to a washing machine. Particularly, the present invention provides a washing machine using ultrasonic vibrations so that laundry for hand-washing or dry cleaning may be easily and conveniently washed in the home. The washing machine includes: a main body having an accommodation space having a predetermined volume therein; a washing tub disposed within the main body, wherein the washing tub has one side connected to a water supply tube for supplying washing water or cleanser and the other side connected to a discharge tube for discharging the used washing water or cleanser; a cover coupled to the side of the main body to open or close the washing tub; and an ultrasound generator disposed on at least one side of the washing tub to apply ultrasonic vibration to the laundry accommodated in the washing tub.
