Abstract:
The washing machine of this embodiment is provided with a washing tub (2), a pulsator (4), and a drive device (K). The pulsator (4) is disposed within the washing tub (2) in the lower part thereof and can be rotationally driven by the drive device (K). The pulsator (4) has a flat base surface (4a), recesses (4b), and blade ridges (4c). The recesses (4b) are formed so as to be arranged in the circumferential direction of the pulsator (4) and recessed from the base surface (4a) as a reference. The blade ridges (4c) protrude from the bottom surfaces inside the respective recesses (4b).
