Abstract:
A washing machine is provided with a main body, a water-containing drum supported inside said main body, a rotating drum supported inside the water-containing drum so as to be able to rotate, a fluid balancer that is provided at the top of the rotating drum and is provided with a fabric-softener input part, and a motor that rotates the rotating drum. The fabric-softener input part has a fabric-softener input port provided in the fluid balancer, an input-port cover (53) that covers the fabric-softener input port, and a shaft part (55) that supports the input-port cover (53) such that said input-port cover (53) can be opened and closed. The input-port cover (53) has the following: a first surface (56a), namely an axial-surface section with the shaft part (55) on one edge thereof; and a second surface (56b), namely an occluding section that lies in a different plane from the first surface (56a).
