Abstract:
A washing machine according to the present embodiment comprises: a water tub (6) which is positioned within a washing machine main body (1); a rotating tub (7), which is disposed within the water tub (6) to be rotatable with a shaft oriented vertically as a center thereof, and which has drain holes (13a) upon a circumference wall part thereof; and a control means (35) for controlling a washing operation from wash to spin. A soiling-resistant function part (50) is disposed upon the outer face of the rotating tub (7). The control means (35) executes a tub wash action which rotates the rotating tub (7) with the interior of the water tub (6) containing water.
