Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a washing machine, capable of effectively eliminating laundry deflection within a tub. The washing machine (1) comprises: a tub (4) receiving laundry (L), an agitator (5) disposed within the tub (4), a motor (6) driving the tub (4) and the agitator (5) to revolve, a revolving speed reading device (39) used to detect laundry (L) deflection within the tub (4), and a control unit (30). Before spin drying of the laundry(L), the control unit (30) checks whether laundry (L) deflection occurs within the tub (4) based on the detection result obtained by the revolving speed reading device (39); if the control unit (30) determines that no laundry (L) deflection occurs, then the control unit (30) controls the motor (6) to revolve the tub (4) and spin dry the laundry(L); and if the control unit (30) determines that laundry (L) deflection has occurred, then the control unit (30) applies braking to the revolving of the tub (4) before driving the tub (4) and the agitator (5) to revolve at different speeds.
