Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine. The washing machine can achieve miniaturization and the reduction of vibrations and noise in such a manner that the capacity of laundry is not reduced. A washing machine (1) comprising: a machine shell (2), provided with a frame (10); a washing drum (3), provided with a water-removal drum (26) driven to be rotated and configured in the machine shell (2); and four rod-shaped supporting members (9), suspended from the frame (10) and elastically supporting the washing drum (3). In the four rod-shaped supporting members (9), a pair of front side supporting members (9A) are shorter than a pair of rear side supporting members (9B). The gap between upper ends of the pair of front side supporting members (9A) is greater than the gap between upper ends of the pair of rear side supporting members (9B). The pair of front side supporting members (9A) inclines relative to the vertical direction in such a manner that the gap therebetween becomes narrower toward a lower side (Z2). The pair of rear side supporting members (9B) inclines relative to the vertical direction in such a manner that the gap therebetween becomes wider toward the lower side (Z2).
