Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a washing machine, comprising: a box body, an inner tub provided in the box body, a driving device for driving the inner tub to rotate, and a water collecting device provided at the bottom of the inner tub. During washing/rinsing, the inner tub serves as a water containing tub. A water removal channel communicated with the inner tub and used for discharging water from the inner tub is provided on the outer wall of the inner tub. The water collecting device comprises a water collecting cavity provided with an upper opening. A recess is provided on the bottom wall of the water collecting cavity. The water outlet end of the water removal channel extends downwards into the recess. According to the present invention, the water collecting device does not limit capacity expansion of the inner tub, and provides sufficient space for capacity expansion of the inner tub; moreover, the water outlet end of the water removal channel extends into the recess on the bottom wall of the water collecting cavity, thereby facilitating water collection and discharge, and also preventing water discharged during water removal from splashing out of the water collecting cavity, and preventing the splashed water from corroding the box body and from causing short circuit.
