Provided is a washing machine, comprising a cabinet (100), a drum assembly arranged in the cabinet and an electrical apparatus element arranged at the bottom of the cabinet, and further comprising a waterproof assembly, wherein the waterproof assembly is arranged between the drum assembly and the electrical apparatus element, and is in sealed connection with the cabinet so as to isolate the electrical apparatus element in a sealed manner, thus realizing the protection of the electrical apparatus element. The waterproof assembly is arranged to be a waterproof cover (105), and the electrical apparatus element is covered by the waterproof cover to be protected by means of the sealed connection between the waterproof cover (105) and an inner wall of the cabinet (100). By means of arranging a sump tank (106), washing water dripping onto the waterproof cover (105) is collected and is conveniently discharged. By means of arranging a sealing structure, the position where a wire harness (108) passes through the waterproof cover (105) is sealed to prevent the washing water from entering a lower portion of the waterproof cover from the position and reaching the electrical apparatus element.
