Abstract:
The present invention provides a washing machine, comprising: a load measurement unit (51) configured to measure, at the beginning of a cleaning process, the load corresponding to the amount of laundry put into a washing and dewatering tub; a set water volume determination unit (52) configured to determine, on the basis of the load measured by the load measurement unit (51), the set water volume supplied to the washing and dewatering tub; a first water volume change measurement unit (53) configured to measure, when the washing process or the rinsing process is interrupted and a cover that opens and closes a laundry access opening is opened or closed, the water volume change between a first water volume in the washing and dewatering tub when a cover is opened and a second water volume in the washing and dewatering tub when the cover is closed; a correction unit (55) configured to correct the set water volume on the basis of the water volume change measured by the first water volume change measurement unit (53); and a water volume adjustment unit (56) configured to adjust the water volume in the washing and dewatering tub on the basis of the set water volume corrected by the correction unit (55).
