Abstract:

Disclosed is a washing machine having an improved agitation apparatus. The washing machine comprises: a tub; a rotating tub rotatably provided in the tub; and an agitation apparatus comprising a first agitation part rotatably provided on the lower portion of the rotating tub, and a second agitation part coupled to the first agitation part. The second agitation part comprises: a cylindrical washing rod body; and a groove recessed from the outer surface of the washing rod body and extending in the vertical direction so that a parting line, formed by a manufacturing process, is received therein.
