Abstract:
A washing machine, which can easily and sufficiently obtain the rinsing performance of a spray rinsing process regardless of the water supply flow and the laundry load size. The fully automatic washing machine (1) comprises: a washing and dewatering tub (22) rotatably provided in an outer tub (20); a driving unit (30) for driving the washing and dewatering tub (22); a water supply unit (50) for supplying water to the washing and dewatering tub (22) from the upper part of the washing and dewatering tub (22); a drain valve (40) for opening and closing a drain port part (20a) arranged at the bottom of the outer tub (20); a water level sensor for measuring the water level in the outer tub (20); and a control unit for executing a spray rinsing process of rotating the washing and dewatering tub (22) by means of the driving unit (30) and supplying water by means of the water supply unit (50). In the spray rinsing process, the control unit executes the water supply of the water supply unit (50) in a state in which the drain valve (40) is closed, and stops the water supply of the water supply unit (50) when the water level in the outer tub (20) reaches a preset water supply stop water level.
