Abstract:
The washing machine comprises: a tub; a drum; a pulsator; a motor assembly including a rotor in order to provide driving power; a deceleration gear module, which can be coupled to the rotor so that at least one portion thereof can rotate at an angular velocity that is slower than the angular velocity of the rotor while the at least one portion thereof is coupled to the rotor; a washing shaft, which can be coupled to the pulsator and one portion of the deceleration gear module so that the pulsator can rotate at an angular velocity that is slower than the angular velocity of the rotor; a spin-drying shaft that can be coupled to the drum; and a coupler which can be coupled to the spin-drying shaft and the rotor such that the spin-drying shaft can rotate at the angular velocity of the rotor, and which includes a coupler body having an accommodation space therein so that the deceleration gear module is accommodated therein.
