Abstract:
A washing machine, comprising: an ultrasonic cleaning device (50), comprising a water storage tank (210) for storing cleaning water and an ultrasonic cleaning unit (100) for enabling ultrasonic waves to act on an object to be cleaned soaked in the cleaning water to clean said object; a water supply unit (70), used for supplying water fed from a faucet, i.e., water mixed with a detergent, to the water storage tank (210) as the cleaning water; a distance sensor (600), arranged above the water storage tank (210) and used for measuring the distance between the distance sensor (600) and the water surface of the cleaning water stored in the water storage tank (210); and a control unit (810), used for controlling the water supply unit (70), wherein the control unit (810) enables the water supply unit (70) to supply the cleaning water into the water storage tank (210) until the distance from the distance sensor to the water surface measured by the distance sensor (600) reaches a first predetermined distance D1 corresponding to a first predetermined water level L1. According to the washing machine, the water supply time for supplying the cleaning water into the water storage tank can be shortened, and a proper amount of the cleaning water can be stored in the water storage tank.
