Abstract:
A washing system for an agricultural product whereby matters to be removed, said matters sticking to the surface of the agricultural product, can be efficiently and surely removed while continuously maintaining the appearance, texture, etc. of the agricultural product in a preferable state. The washing system (100) for an agricultural product (P) for washing away matters to be removed, said matters sticking to the agricultural product (P), comprises a washing tank (102) for housing a washing liquid (L) for washing the agricultural product, a heater (104) for heating the agricultural product and the washing liquid to a preset temperature, and a dynamic contact mechanism (106) for dynamically contacting the agricultural product with the washing liquid, characterized in that: the washing liquid is an aqueous organic acid solution being heated by the heater to a present temperature and having a weight concentration not higher than a preset level; and the agricultural product is washed by dynamically immersing in the washing liquid for a preset period of time in the washing tank.
