Abstract:
Disclosed are water-absorbent resin particles having a gel brightness L* of 8-60 which is determined by a method including the following steps (A), (B), and (C) in this order. (A) In a colorless transparent round cell having an inner diameter of 30 mm for a color difference meter, 0.1 g of water-absorbent resin particles are uniformly sprayed. (B) 5.0 g of ion exchange water is added to the round cell and absorbed in the water-absorbent resin particles. (C) After 5 minutes from the addition of the ion exchange water, the obtained gel brightness L* is determined in a black background.
