Abstract:
The present invention provides a water based treating agent that can, when isolating and recovering absorbent articles in used or unused disposable diapers and the like, easily disassemble each constituting member forming an absorbent article, that can simultaneously sterilize absorbent articles and inactivate highly water-absorptive polymers, and that can simplify the steps. This water based treating agent for treating used or unused absorbent articles contains: a polar solvent (A) having an SP value of 10-13; an inorganic alkaline compound (B); an inorganic salt of an alkali metal or an inorganic salt of an alkaline earth metal (C); and a solubilizing agent (D).
