Provided are a water drainage control mechanism for a washing machine inner drum, and a washing machine; there is no water between an inner drum (100) and an outer drum (200) during washing, and the bottom of said inner drum (100) is provided with a water drainage hole (105); a water drainage control mechanism (400) capable of plugging the water drainage hole (105) is disposed at the bottom of said outer drum (200); the water drainage control mechanism (400) at least comprises a retractable valve plug; the valve plug moves upward to close the water drainage hole (105) and the valve plug moves downward to open the water drainage hole (105). There is no wash water between the inner and outer drums when the water drainage hole (105) is closed during washing, the invention thus has the feature of water economization; during the process of water drainage and/or spin-drying, the water drainage hole (105) is open, and wash water and dirt and other impurities washed out of the wash water and garments in the inner drum (100) are expelled from the water drainage hole at the bottom into the outer drum (200), thus achieving rapid water drainage and good water-drainage and waste-drainage performance.
