Abstract:
Provided are: an alkali water electrolysis system that comprises at least an electrolyte cell and a gas-liquid separation tank, and that is characterized in that an inlet for flowing a mixture of gas and an electrolyte from the electrolyte cell into the gas-liquid separation tank is disposed at a position higher than the liquid surface of the electrolyte in the gas-liquid separation tank; a water electrolysis method; and a method for producing hydrogen.
