Abstract:
A water jet propelling device (1), comprising a suction casing (3) for sucking water from an outside, a barrel−like pump casing (4) provided continuously with the casing, a discharge casing (5) having an outlet (5a) for jetting water toward the rear of a stern, and an impeller (6) installed in the pump casing (4) and pressurizing the sucked water, wherein spiral vanes (16) having screw vane parts (16a) extended toward the suction casing (3), mixed flow vane parts (16b) smoothly connected to the screw vane parts, and centrifugal vane parts (16c) smoothly connected to the mixed flow vane parts are wound on the hub (15) of the impeller (6).
