Abstract:
Provided are: a water- and oil-resistant agent composition which is for paper and has excellent water-dispersion stability of a fluorine-containing copolymer and from which water- and oil-resistant paper having excellent oil-resistance can be obtained; a method for producing said composition; a water- and oil-resistant paper which has excellent oil-resistance; and a method for producing said paper. This water- and oil-resistant agent composition for paper has 74-80 mass% of a CH2=C(CH3)C(O)OCH2CH2(CF2)6F-based unit, 3-5 mass% of a CH2=C(CH3)C(O)OCH2CH2N(CH3)2-based unit, and 17-21 mass% of CH2=CHC(O)OCH2CH2OH, wherein a fluorine-containing copolymer having a mass average molecular weight of 80,000-300,000 is dispersed in water while at least some of dimethylamino groups of the CH2=C(CH3)C(O)OCH2CH2N(CH3)2-based unit are chloridized by acid.
