Abstract:
The present invention provides a water pump comprising: a housing: an impeller which is provided on one side of the housing, and which causes cooling water to flow and be discharged by means of rotation; a controller provided at the other side of the housing; a rotary shaft of which one end portion is coupled to the center of the impeller and the other end portion is disposed at the controller side, and which rotates the impeller; a stator including a core disposed so as to encompass the radial outer side of a rotor, and a coil which is wound around the outer side of the core and of which the outer surface is made from an insulating material, and being accommodated in an accommodation space of the housing, into which the cooling water flows, so as to be cooled by means of the cooling water; and the rotor coupled to the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft and rotated by means of the stator.
