Abstract:
Provided is a water purification device which can be switched between prioritizing purity and prioritizing production quantity, wherein high-purity clean water can be produced when prioritizing purity without being affected by a configuration that allows for the prioritizing of production quantity. A water purification device (1) is provided with: a first purification unit (2b) and a second purification unit (3b) which are provided with RO membranes; a main path (30) for sequentially passing raw water through the first purification unit (2b) and the second purification unit (3b); and a bypass path (31) for allowing the raw water to pass through the first purification unit (2b) of a first stage, bypass the second purification unit (3b) positioned on the downstream side, and merge with the main path (30). A first check valve (10) for preventing backflow from the bypass path (31) is provided on the main path (30) and is positioned on the upstream side of a junction (P2) at which the bypass path (31) merges with the main path (30) and on the downstream side of the second purification unit (3b) for sending treated water to the junction (P2).
