Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a water quality measuring method which enables accurate measurement of a target component. The water quality measuring method comprises a sample injection step, a pretreatment reagent injection step, a pretreated sample production step, a first transfer step, a titrant injection step, a second transfer step, and a measurement step. In the sample injection step, a multi-channel valve is controlled such that a flow channel is formed to connect a sample storage unit to a cylinder of a syringe pump, and a sample in the sample storage unit is injected into the cylinder. In the pretreatment reagent injection step, the multi-channel valve is controlled such that a flow channel is formed to connect a pretreatment reagent storage unit to the cylinder, and a pretreatment reagent in the pretreatment reagent storage unit is injected into the cylinder. In the pretreated sample production step, the sample and the pretreatment reagent received in the cylinder are heated and mixed to produce a pretreated sample. In the first transfer step, the multi-channel valve is controlled such that a flow channel is formed to connect a detection unit to the cylinder, and the pretreated sample received in the cylinder is transferred to the detection unit. In the titrant injection step, the multi-channel valve is controlled such that a flow channel is formed to connect a titrant storage unit to the cylinder, and a titrant in the titrant storage unit is injected into the cylinder. In the second transfer step, the multi-channel valve is controlled such that a flow channel is formed to connect the detection unit to the cylinder, and the titrant received in the cylinder is transferred to the detection unit. In the measurement step, the detection unit measures a target component by reacting the titrant with the pretreated sample.
