Title:
WATER-REPELLING AND OIL-REPELLING AGENT COMPOSITION, WATER AND OIL REPELLENT TREATMENT METHOD, AND WATER-REPELLING AND OIL-REPELLING FIBER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/131334
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a water-repelling and oil-repelling agent composition which exhibits high adsorption to a substrate and can impart a substrate with high oil repellency and water repellency. This water-repelling and oil-repelling agent composition contains a copolymer (A), a cationic surfactant (B), an aqueous medium (C), and a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane (D). Particles containing the copolymer (A) are dispersed in the aqueous medium (C). The copolymer (A) contains a constituent unit derived from a monomer (a1) comprising an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester in which a part other than a (meth)acryloyloxy group is a hydrocarbon structure and a constituent unit derived from a monomer (a2) comprising a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond and an amide bond. The polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane (D) is a compound in which some or all hydrogen atoms of methyl groups in the polydimethylsiloxane are substituted with polyether chains.
