Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rimless toilet (10) that does not comprise any elements that may potentially disrupt the structural integrity and aesthetics of its basin (16) which is comprised of a front portion (11), a rear portion (12) and two side portions (13), and that aims for discharging water through the discharge port (21) and subsequently, through the sewage drain (22) by means of ensuring that water used for cleaning that comes from the water inlet (20) is utilized in a water-saving manner. The present invention particularly relates to a rimless toilet (10) that comprises at least one water guiding baffle (14) that is positioned in front of said water inlet (20) and at least one water inlet gap (15) which is positioned between said water inlet (20) and water guiding baffle (14) and which ensures that water flows properly and in a uniform manner by means of tangentially guiding the water to the rear portion (12) and side portions (13) and further ensures that cleaning water cleans every portion including the front (11), upper and bottom portions by means of bringing water that flows from side portions (13) together in the front portion (11).

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A rimless toilet (10) that does not comprise any elements that may disrupt the structural integrity and aesthetics of its basin (16) which is comprised of a front portion (11), a rear portion (12) and side portion (IB), and that aims for discharging water through discharge port (21) and subsequently, through sewage drain (22) by means of ensuring that water used for cleaning that comes from water inlet (20) is utilized in a water-saving manner characterized by comprising;

- at least one water guiding baffle (14) that is positioned in front of said water inlet (20),

- at least one water inlet gap (15) that is positioned between said water inlet (20) and water guiding baffle (14), and which ensures that water is in a rigid flow by means of tangentially guiding the water to rear portion (12) and to side portion (13), and which further ensures that water coming from side portions (13) meets at front portion (11), thereby ensuring that water cleans every portion including front (11), upper and bottom portions.

2. Toilet (10) according to Claim 1 characterized by comprising; water inlet (20) that is of a vertical cylindrical structure wherein the inlet diameter is approximately 55 mm, length approximately ranges between 25 mm and 30 mm and outlet diameter is approximately 45 mm.

Toilet (10) according to Claim 1 characterized by comprising; water guiding baffle (14) and water inlet gap (15) wherein the initial flow (30) coming from water inlet (20) is guided to be flow in '+' direction (31), flow in direction (32) and rear surface flow (33) tangential to the surface of basin (16).

4. Toilet (10) according to Claim 1 and Claim 3 characterized by comprising; rising flow (35) in the front portion (11) that is constituted by means of colliding flow in '+' direction (31) and flow in direction (32) guided by said water guiding baffle (14) and water inlet gap (15) at a collision point (34) on front portion (11).

5. Toilet (10) according to Claim 1 characterized by comprising; agonic uniform passings among said front portion (11), rear portion (12) and side portions (13).

WATER-SAVING RIMLESS EASY-TO-CLEAN TOILET

TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a rimless toilet that does not comprise any elements that may disrupt the structural integrity and aesthetics of its basin, and that performs the cleaning of the basin in a water-saving manner.

The present invention particularly relates to a rimless toilet that does not comprise any elements that may disrupt the structural integrity and aesthetics of its basin which is comprised of a front portion, a rear portion and two side portions, and that aims for discharging water through the discharge port and subsequently, through the sewage drain by means of ensuring that water used for cleaning that comes from the water inlet is utilized in a water-saving manner.

STATE OF THE ART

Nowadays, sitting-type toilets are used more commonly when compared to squat-type toilets. In general terms, sitting-type toilets are composed of two basic constituents which are the water tank (reservoir) and the toilet bowl. Owing to developments in modern structures as well as the rising of the sense of aesthetics into prominence, concealed water tanks known as built-in reservoirs may be positioned into walls. Pan closets used in vintage squatting-type toilets have been replaced by modern sitting-type toilet bowls which are both comfortable in terms of use and appealing to the eye in terms of aesthetics.

Cleanliness of toilets is quite crucial in terms of human health. Novel systems are being developed particularly for the hygiene and cleanliness of public toilets located in common use areas. It is desired that water being discharged from the water tank may clean the entirety of toilet basins so that users do not have to exert any additional efforts for cleaning the toilet. In the state of the art, rims called closed or open rings are being utilized so that water that is discharged from the water tank by means of a button or a pull cord may clean visible portions of the toilet's basin. Even though discharged water can clean the toilet's basin by means of these rims, said rims through which the water flows may become dirty in time and since they are quite difficult to reach, these rims cannot be cleaned with ease and optimum hygiene cannot be achieved.

Another technique known in the state of the art involves rimless toilets in which abovementioned rims that provide the water flow for the cleaning of toilet's basin and that are difficult to clean are not used. In rimless toilets, however, there are certain difficulties in terms of guiding the water flow which results in using larger amounts of water for cleaning the toilet's basin. However, when it is desired to save water, all surfaces of the toilet's basin cannot be cleaned hygienically. Being unable to guide the water flow properly and to contain the water inside the water tank, splashing of water out of the toilet's basin and formation of water droplets on the toilet seat and its cover result in insanitary and unhygienic conditions for users.

The patent document numbered WO2015196235 and titled "A Rimless Toilet Pan and a Method of Flushing Same" can be given as another example to the cleanliness of toilets. However, in the structure disclosed in the abovementioned patent document, water flow is guided by means of recesses and protrusions which cause impairment in the integrity of the toilet basin and aesthetic structure is disrupted.

Another invention known in the state of the art is the patent document numbered 2016/01834 and titled "Novelty in Rimless Toilet Washing System" belonging to Turkuaz Seramik. Portions that are disclosed in this patent document, and that are called water retaining areas disrupt the integrity of the toilet basin. Furthermore, an aesthetical structure in visual terms cannot be provided. Since water pass areas which ensure that water is conveyed to said water retaining areas are arranged in integration with the water distribution area, the water being discharged form concealed water outlet cannot reach to water retaining area. As stated in abovementioned patent document, an area through which the water can flow in water pass areas is not created.

Another invention known in the state of the art is disclosed in the patent application numbered 2016/19751 and titled "A Rimless Toilet" belonging to Eczacibasi Yapi Gerecleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi. In said patent document, a rim shaped protrusion is provided which ensures that cleaning water is conveyed to the toilet basin in a specific amount. This protrusion causes a disruption in the aesthetical structure and accordingly, exhibits a structure lacking visual quality.

Consequently, the present need towards a rimless toilet that does not comprise any elements disrupting the structural integrity and aesthetics of its basin, and that allows for performing the cleaning of the toilet basin in a water-saving manner as well as the inadequacy of available solutions necessitated making an improvement in the related technical field.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a water-saving rimless toilet that is capable of meeting abovementioned requirements, that can eliminate potential disadvantages, and that brings further advantages.

The main object of the inventive water-saving rimless toilet is to ensure that the cleaning of the toilet basin is performed in a water-saving manner, and without comprising any elements that disrupt the structural integrity and aesthetics of the toilet basin. In modern sitting-type toilets, rims, recesses and protrusions disrupting the structural integrity during the cleaning process of toilets after use are elements that are undesired by users. However, in cases where these elements are not utilized, water circulation that will provide cleaning of the basin cannot realize to its full extent. When the water circulation cannot be completed, it becomes impossible to achieve a cleaning within scope of hygiene rules. The present invention is designed in a rimless structure that does not cause any disruptions in the aesthetic appearance, and to ensure that the complete water circulation is provided therewith.

Another object of the present invention is to allow for saving water. When compared to toilets with rims, rimless toilets require larger amounts of water to perform water circulation. To be able to convey the water towards the front portion of the toilet basin, larger amounts of water is required to be discharged from the reservoir, which results in waste of water. Thanks to its structural design, the present invention performs the toilet basin cleaning process which would be carried out with 6 liters of water under normal conditions, by using only 4 liters of water, thereby allowing for saving water. In order to achieve abovementioned objects in the most general sense, a rimless toilet has been developed which does not comprise any elements that may disrupt the structural integrity and aesthetics of the toilet basin which is comprised of a front portion, a rear portion and two side portions, and that aims for discharging water through the discharge port and subsequently, through the sewage drain by ensuring that water used for cleaning that comes from the water inlet is utilized in a water-saving manner. The inventive rimless toilet comprises at least one water guiding baffle that is positioned in front of said water inlet and at least one water inlet gap which is positioned between said water inlet and water guiding baffle, and which ensures that water flows properly and in a uniform manner by means of tangentially guiding the water to the rear portion and side portions, and further ensures that cleaning water cleans every portion including the front, upper and bottom portions by means of bring water that flows from side portions together in the front portion.

Structural and characteristic features of the present invention as well as all advantages thereof will be understood more clearly by means of the figures given below and by the detailed description that is provided by making references to the figures, therefore evaluation of the present invention should be carried out by taking these figures and the detailed description into account.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The inventive toilet (10) is developed in order not to comprise any elements that may disrupt the structural integrity and aesthetics of its basin (16) and to ensure that the cleaning of the basin (16) is carried out in a water-saving manner. In Figure 1 and Figure 2, lateral section and frontal section views of the inventive toilet (10) are respectively illustrated. As in ones included in the available applications, the inventive toilet (10) comprises a basin (16) composed of a front portion (11), a rear portion (12) and two side portions (13). Cleaning water coming from the water inlet (20) created on the rear portion (12) performs the cleaning of the basin (16) and is discharged from discharge port (21) and subsequently through the sewage drain (22). In the most general sense, the inventive toilet (10) designed to be a rimless type in order to ensure that water is used in a water-saving manner comprises; at least one water guiding baffle (14) that is positioned in front of the water inlet (20), at least one water inlet gap (15) which is positioned between the water inlet (20) and water guiding baffle (14), and which ensures that water flows properly and in a uniform manner by means of tangentially guiding the water to the rear portion (12) and side portions (13), and further ensures that cleaning water cleans every portion including the front (11), upper and bottom portions by means of bringing water that flows from side portions (IB) together in the front portion (11).

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the water inlet (20) is of a vertical cylindrical structure in which inlet diameter is 55 mm, length ranges between 25 mm to 30 mm and outlet diameter is 45 mm. Thus, water passing through the water inlet (20) gathers momentum and picks up speed with the effect of contraction at the outlet. By this means, water is conveyed to the front portion (11) of the basin (16) in a desired intensity of pressure. Water inlet gap (15) that is located between the rear portion (12) and the water guiding baffle (14) which is positioned in front of the water inlet (20) ensures that water gets distributed to the basin (16) by means of the water guiding baffle (14). Initial flow (30) gets separated into flow in '+' direction (31) and flow in direction (32) that are tangential to the surface of the basin (16) with the rear surface flow (33). Flow in '+' direction (31) and flow in direction (32) meet at the collision point (34) located on the front portion (11) and create a rising flow (35). Rising flow (35) ensures that the front portion (11) of the basin (16) gets cleaned.

Rear surface flow (33) that ensures the cleaning, rising flow (35), flow in '+' direction (31) and flow in direction (32) lose speed and together they create the declining flow (36). Declining flow (36) passes through the discharge port (21) and gets discharged through the sewage drain (22). It is aimed to generate turbulence-free and proper water flows by creating agonic uniform passings among the front portion (11), rear portion (12) and side portions (13).

The scope of protection of the present application is defined in the appended patent claims and therefore, the present invention cannot be confined to above-given disclosures provided for illustrative purposes, moreover, it is obvious that a person who is skilled in the art can set forth the novelty revealed in the present invention by using similar embodiments and/or can implement this embodiment in different fields that are used in the related technical field, and that have similar purposes. Therefore, it is quite apparent that suchlike embodiments will lack novelty criteria and especially the criteria required for surpassing the state of the art.
