Abstract:
Provided are a water-soluble cannabidiol microcapsule and a method for preparing same. The method comprises the following steps of: adding a galactose to an aqueous solution of whey protein isolate, regulating the pH value, reacting, and then cooling to obtain a solution of whey protein isolate-galactose glycosylation products (MRPs); adding an emulsifier into the solution of MRPs, regulating the pH value, shearing and stirring same at a high speed in an oil solution of cannabidiol (CBD) to obtain a crude emulsion, and homogenizing the crude emulsion to obtain a glycosylation products-cannabidiol (MRPs-CBD) emulsion; and sequentially carrying out pre-freezing and vacuum freeze-drying on the MRPs-CBD emulsion to obtain the water-soluble cannabidiol microcapsule. The method improves the solubility and dispersity of cannabidiol in water, improves the stability of cannabidiol in a bad environment to prolong the shelf life, and improves the slow release capacity of cannabidiol to enhance the targeted drug delivery efficacy, thereby improving the bioavailability thereof.
